Getting objective information about what is going on inside our bodies can be helpful in driving an appropriate nutritional plan. Our clinic has the ability to order blood work and labs that will help to provide you with the knowledge on whether your body is lacking certain nutrients or you have underlying disease processes starting.

STRESS BALANCE

Most of us are aware that excessive stress is damaging to our bodies. While there can be countless reasons for stress and ways to reduce it, oftentimes a nutritional approach should and can play a role in decreasing and helping you to manage your stress. Ask our providers for further information regarding this. 

BIOIMPEDANCE ANALYSIS (BIA)

The BIA is an in-office instrument that utilizes electrical measurements to provide us with information on the health of the cells inside your body.  This tool helps to determine fluid distribution, body composition, cell membrane, and tissue health. In other words, the BIA can give us valuable information about the inside of your body before you actually have the symptoms of the disease. It can help explain symptoms you may currently be having and may show warning signs in your body before it shows up on blood work or other tests. The procedure is pain-free, as the information is received by placing adhesive electrodes on your skin similar to an EKG. 

DETOXIFICATION

Whether it is from our food or the environment, we are bombarded by toxins. Often a great way to jump-start a healthy nutrition program is to "take the garbage out" of our bodies before we start putting all the "good" in. Toxins are stored in our liver and fat cells, so doing a detox can allow these toxins to be properly released and then eliminated from our bodies. We can guide you through a specific, scientifically proven detoxification program.
