CHIROPRACTIC

Chiropractic is a hands-on treatment to the bones of the spine and joints throughout the body that stimulates the nervous system to create health and healing in the body. The chiropractic adjustment is a manipulation that restores proper alignment and joint mobility, which reduces pain, muscle guarding, inflammation and interference with the nerves and their pathways

ADJUSTMENT

The chiropractic adjustment restores proper joint motion, alignment and function to your spine and extremities. This stimulates your nervous system to eliminate nerve dysfunction. If you are having pain, numbness, tingling, headaches, muscle tightness, fatigue, or internal system problems, adjusting the spine powerfully eliminates the interference. Our doctors will work to identify the physical, emotional, and chemical stressors of life that are leading to an unhealthy spine and body.

DRY NEEDLING

Myofascial trigger points and tender points in soft tissue can often cause pain, reduced range of motion and decreased function. Dry needling is a skilled intervention that uses a sterile, very thin filament needle inserted into the tissue to stimulate healing that may be associated with one or several of your complaints. Where the Graston technique and therapeutic massage “break up” the adhesions and scar tissue in muscles, dry needling has more of a neurological effect on the muscles. Our doctors often explain it this way: “The thin needle goes into the muscle, activating nerve receptors, causing the brain to tell the related tissue to unwind and relax. The unhealthy muscles and fascia then stop pulling on the bones and joints, helping to stop the muscle memory that often causes chronic pain and dysfunction.

Back and neck pain * Headaches and migraines * Shoulder, hip, and knee pain  *  Tendonitis  *  Plantar Fasciitis * Chronic muscle imbalances  * Chronic Pain

REHABILITATIVE EXERCISES

Strength comes through proper movement.  A chiropractic adjustment starts the process of correcting improper movement. However, often times, specific rehabilitate exercise is needed to create a longer-lasting change.  For some, this involves the lengthening/stretching of tight and weak muscles; for others, core strength and balance. In every case, addressing joints or muscles that may be causing compensation is imperative in treating the actual source of pain.

KINESIOTAPING

Our Chiropractors have found kinesiotape to be a great adjunct to treating sports, auto, work comp and overuse injuries. The taping technique, when applied appropriately, assists in muscle support, swelling reduction, proprioceptive feedback and improved circulation.

GRASTON

The Graston Technique utilizes a patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively detect and treat scar tissue and restrictions that affect normal function.

Graston works great on both the spine and extremities.

Whether the area is an old or new injury site, Graston can help to quickly eliminate knots/ scar tissue regions in the muscles. If you have that adjustment that “just won’t hold,” chronic knots in your back, or injury to a wrist, shoulder, knee, ankle, etc. consider this technique as a very effective tool to return it to proper function.

Chronic back and neck pain * Carpal tunnel *  Tennis elbow *  Strained muscles  * Shoulder pain  * Sprained ankles * Tendonitis  * IT band syndrome

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Fascia is a thin, elastic type of connective tissue that surrounds and provides shape for muscles, tendons, and joints. Sometimes, muscles become restricted (“tight”) due to overuse, trauma, or inactivity, often resulting in pain, muscle tension, and decreased blood flow.

Myofascial release is a safe and effective hands-on technique that involves applying firm, sustained pressure while a muscle and joint are moved through their range of motion. This helps to eliminate the tissue restriction ("tightness") in muscles to eliminate pain and restore motion.

ORTHOTICS

After evaluation, if abnormal foot and ankle function is identified as a probable cause, a properly fitted orthotic can help stabilize the spine and pelvis, thereby reducing knee, shin, heel, and foot pain.

Plantar Fasciitis * Shin Splints * Achilles Tendonitis * Heel Pain * Foot Pain * Knee Pain * Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction * Hip Impingement * ITB Syndrome

X - RAY

Our state of the art digital x-ray is used by our Chiropractic Physicians to assist in skilled and accurate diagnoses. An x-ray often serves as the blueprint of your spine, helping the Chiropractors perform safe, appropriate and effective adjustments. It also helps in treating sports injuries, auto accidents and other high-impact events.

PEDIATRIC CHIROPRACTIC

Chiropractic is safe and very effective in kids, toddlers, and even infants. Traumatic births, falls, prolonged sitting in school, and emotional stress are just a few things that cause the need for kids to get their spines checked. Our chiropractors have years of experience in providing gentle chiropractic adjustments to kids of all ages.
