Massage therapy is the manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues in the body by a Massage Therapist to relieve pain, promote healing and improve physical function.

MASSAGE THERAPY

MEDICAL MASSAGE

Muscles are a crucial component of the musculoskeletal system, they serve as pulleys that help control the movement of bones. However, when muscle tissue becomes impaired with the presence of knots, trigger points, and adhesions, the result is often pain and joint dysfunction. Tight muscles ultimately reduce the ability of your bones and joints to move effectively.

Therapeutic massage can play a significant role complementing the chiropractic adjustment, your workouts and rehab exercises. It can and will play a significant role in getting you out of pain and keeping you there.

Medical massage targets the patient’s specific problem area, identified through assessment or evaluation by one of our medical professionals. It has proven to be a key component in patients’ complete care.

CUPPING

Cupping is a technique performed on your muscles where a “suction cup” type device lifts your muscle tissue. This brings new blood to the area, breaks up fascia and scar tissue in the muscle, and allows your body to start laying down healthy tissue. It can often leave purple, circular marks on your body, but they only last for a short time; the benefits to the muscles are long lasting.
